MK1FD

The very first self adjusting wire stripper introduced on the market way back in 1967. The MK1FD is compact with a powerful 'one-hand' action. To allow the tool to withstand the rough treatment of field use, the main body components are of die cast aluminium with linkages of pressed steel thereby giving a long lasting performance and constant precision. The stripping jaw is fitted with an adjustable length which can be easily removed if required.

MICRO STRIP

The Micro Strip has been designed for the handling of PVC insulated small cross-sectional wires and is self-adjusting over the full range of its capacity. The Micro Strip is light and small enough to allow work on closely packed assemblies. A cutter has also been incorporated in the tool for convenience which will cut wires up to a maximum of 1.5mm˛. To cater for damage-free gripping, each tool is supplied with three pairs of differently serrated gripping pads; these are chosen according to the insulation of the wire and are simply inserted by finger pressure into the nests provided in the jaw housings.

MK2FC

The MK2FC is fully self-adjusting throughout its capacity, however, a provision has been made to rapidly adjust the ratio between the gripping and cutting jaws to allow for unusually 'tough' or 'soft' insulations to maintain fatigue-free operation.
In order to aid a high production rate, refinements have been made whereby the jaws close and re-open with one squeeze of the handles, releasing the wire and enhancing slug removal. The flexi-jaw is fitted with an easily adjusted wire stop which together with the millimetre scale on the tool allows for fast and accurate setting of strip length.

The Powerstrip10 is the latest addition to a family of Abeco made wire stripping hand tools. MEGA STRIP

The Mega Strip is the only hand tool in the world capable of faultlessly stripping electrical wires and cables with insulations of PVC, Vinyl, Polyethylene etc. from 0.5 - 25mm˛ The Mega Strip will also handle multi-core cables up to 10mm diameter; it will remove the outer insulation and with one simple twist of the gauge selector, be ready to strip the inner cores.
The Mega Strip has primarily been designed to meet the heavy usage requirements of electrical installation engineers. To combine both strength and lightness the tool is constructed of aluminium alloy.
